About the Data

The COVID-19 Advanced Literature Classifier (CALC-19) includes all records from the COVID-19 Open Research Dataset (CORD-19). The dataset is in response to The White House’s request to aggregate the largest structured dataset of coronavirus research for the global research community.

CALC-19 also includes records using a COVID-19 search strategy in other medical databases.

The data is updated weekly to reflect the newest findings in COVID-19 research. Inside the CALC-19, you can filter records using keywords and tags to find records relevant to your work.

Each record includes metadata in addition to title and abstract, including mesh keywords, author, date of publication, and journal of publication. This richness of data makes classification more precise and exportation of findings more seamless.

Your search of articles can be exported to one of the following file formats: Excel, CSV, Endnote, RIS, BibTeX, and a new FHIR JSON format.
